Legends of Oglethorpe Tour of Homes

Join us on October 26, 2019 for the Legends of Oglethorpe Tour of Homes

10:00 am – 5:00 pm

Featuring tours of six historic homes in Oglethorpe as well as the Beth-Salem Church and Manse. Registration is at the Courthouse where a brochure and map will be provided. Visitors will be invited to tour homes and hear docents describe the history and stories of people who lived in the houses. Cost for the event is $20 per person.

Georgia Arbor Day Celebration and Concert

February 22, 2020

Join us for our Georgia Arbor Day Celebration. As a Tree City, Lexington has an annual tree planting in Meson Park followed by a Fruit and Nut Bake Off at the Beth Salem Manse. You can participate in the Fruit and Nut Bake Off by contributing your favorite baked item that includes either a fruit or nut product. The community will taste entries and vote on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. Cash prizes.

At 7 pm Green Flag Band, an Irish group, will be playing at Beth Salem, corner of Church and Meson Streets. This is part of the Lexington Downtown Development Georgia Council for the Arts Concert Series.
