Georgia Arbor Day Celebration and Concert

Join us from 5-7 pm for our Georgia Arbor Day Celebration. As a Tree City, Lexington has an annual tree planting at 5:30 pm in Meson Park followed by a Fruit and Nut Bake Off at 6:30 at the Beth Salem Manse. You can participate in the Fruit and Nut Bake Off by contributing your favorite baked item that includes either a fruit or nut product. The community will taste entries and vote on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. Cash prizes.

From 7- 9 pm The Pink Stones will be performing at the Pavilion (weather permitting) or Beth Salem, corner of Meson and Church Street, Lexington, GA. The Pink Stones is a cosmic country, rock n’ roll band from Athens, Georgia. The concert is sponsored by The Waterman and the Downtown Development Authority.
